DuPont Tyvek FlexWrap EZ is the same high performance, heavy-duty adhesive tape as FlexWrap NF but in a handy, compact roll for smaller jobs. The flexibility and narrow width of this convenient sealing tape will allow you to seal around the most difficult items, creating your own shapes and giving a perfect seal when used correctly.

How does DuPont Tyvek FlexWrap EZ work?

DuPont Tyvek FlexWrap EZ works so well thanks to its pleated base layer. This layer allows the tape to shape around otherwise awkward or difficult areas whilst maintaining a tight seal. The butyl adhesive of FlexWrap EZ is compatible with all DuPont Tyvek and AirGuard membranes as well as most other building materials so you can work with confidence knowing youâ€™ll have a high-performance system.

Where can I use DuPont Tyvek FlexWrap EZ?

FlexWrap EZ can be used to create airtight and watertight seals in all roofing projects, whether major or minor. This product is perfect to seal around windows, doors and chimney breasts, not to mention any pipes you may be installing, including domestic or commercial ducting and ventilation. Question:

I want a waterproof, breathable tape, which I can cover a breather hole on a component. The component is in a wet / damp area, but is never submerged or subject to direct water hitting the breather hole. The tape must be breathable to allow for ventilation of the component. Is this tape suitable? If not could you please advise, which would be?

Answer:

This tape is for sealing water and airtight I am afraid so is not breathable, apologies.
