FAKRO have created a range of fixed flat roof windows that have been designed to maximise the amount of natural light that enters a room, whilst also maximising thermal efficiencies, retaining heat and preventing heat loss through the flat roof window.
This FAKRO secure triple glazed flat roof window is available in 1000 x 1500mm, and should be installed on flat roofs with a pitch between 2 and 15 degrees, ensuring that there is a minimum of 2 degrees to allow rainwater to flow off the surface of the roof window.
This modular triple glazed flat window is supplied with a kerb for installation, and is non-opening, and available in a number of different sizes in order to create the perfect daylight solution for your home. By installing the triple glazed flat window you not only maximise the amount of natural light that enters the room, you also minimise electricity bills, and the secure triple glazing increases security and minimises risk of unwanted entry.
The flat roof window from FAKRO has been carefully designed to maximise the amount of sunlight that enters the room. The specially designed shapes of the sash and frame ensure that the flat roof windows feature up to 16% greater glazing area compared with other manufacturer’s windows of the same size.
Another key feature of the FAKRO fixed modular flat roof window is the glazing. The flat roof window offers P2 laminated triple glazing, which includes a layer of toughened glass on the outside, with an argon gas cavity, as well as a 6.2mm toughened internal glass pane with a low emission coating.
The glazing is combined with a uPVC upstand, which has a multi-chamber design. This combined with the triple glazing creates an incredibly thermally efficient flat roof window.
This FAKRO modular flat roof window features toughened and anti-burglary glass, which helps improve security and peace of mind, protecting the building from unwanted entry as well as falling objects.
The FAKRO modular triple glazed window is supplied with a specially profiled covering material, which sits beneath the drip cap of the frame. This helps to create a tight connection between the roof window and the roofing material.
If required, the fixed modular flat roof window can be installed on an additional XRD base. This allows the flat roof window to be installed on green roofs and in other situations where the window needs to be lifted slightly above the surface of the roof.
