Designed to take complete advantage of using natural light, this high quality rectangular Em-Dome rooflight with 600mm x 1200mm dimensions has an opal diffused finish that increases security due to the translucent surface while transmitting high levels of light, steadily dispersed into the room beneath.
Featuring a double glazed dome, thermoformed from polycarbonate sheet, with a minimum of 3mm thick glazing and a white uPVC curb, this polycarbonate Em-Dome rooflight is practically unbreakable with up to 250 times tougher impact resistance than glass.
This Em-Dome rooflight includes patented and exclusive high security screwbolts that are factory fitted as standard with superior resilience to forced entry or tampering so that when the rooflight is fixed, it cannot be uninstalled by means of basic tools. This Em-Dome rooflight inhibits the accumulation of pressure onto the glazing as the fixings are fastened, by using sleeved bolts or screws within the screwbolt's body. This ensures that the potential for stress fractures triggered by over-tightening is basically eradicated.
