This FAKRO conservation flashing is compatible with any slate products with a maximum thickness of 10mm including but not limited to fibre cement slate and natural slates and has been specifically made for use with a block of four FAKRO conservation windows.
Manufactured from aluminium for malleability around the slate and your roof window, this FAKRO flashing also includes flexible insulating material to decrease heat loss with a polyester coating to increase durability and a black finish that subtly fits in with most roof colourings. As an integral component for installing your FAKRO windows, this flashing although frequently overlooked, is very important. Creating a neat appearance, this flashing provides a tight seal between your windows and the roof slate to ensure that your windows are fitted properly with approximately a 10cm gap between each window, horizontally and vertically.
Not only for visually appealing effect, installing this FAKRO flashing will also protect your windows from weather conditions while the ridged design delivers effective rainwater drainage.
