For installation on flat roofs with a pitch between 2° and 15°, this FAKRO roof window ensures that there is a minimum of 2° to enable rainwater to flow off its surface. Manually operated, this flat roof window can be opened with a 2.2m control rod to deliver a natural source of ventilation when needed for a flow of fresh air to enhance the internal comfort of your environment.
The specially made structures of the frame and sash help this roof window maximise daylight with up to 16% greater glazed area in comparison to other manufacturer's windows of the same size. Featuring P2 laminated double glazing that includes a sheet of glass on the exterior with an argon gas cavity and a 6.2mm inner glass pane with a low emission coating, this FAKRO roof window minimises heat loss for an extremely thermally efficient flat roof window combined with a uPVC upstand that has a multi-chamber design.
For an easy installation, this FAKRO window is provided with a kerb and a specially profiled covering material which is placed below the drip cap of the frame. This helps to create a tight seal between the roofing material and the window. This modular flat roof window can be fixed onto an additional XRD base if required which enables installation on green roofs or for when the window needs to be lifted slightly above the roof's surface.
