The LTK Thermo three-section folding loft ladder is designed for energy efficiency, with a focus on insulation to minimise heat loss into the attic. With a 66mm thick hatch filled with insulating material to maximise thermal efficiency, the high-quality wooden loft ladder is ideal for use in buildings with a substantial temperature difference between habitable and non-habitable areas.
While forming a thermo-insulating barrier, this loft ladder also features a red-painted metal handrail that is mounted on the ladder's angle brackets. Pre-cut grooves allow for a slip-resistance element that eases climbing and the brown stile ends, mounted on the ladder feet, not only enhance its appearance but also defend the floor and improve stability.
This ladder has been fully assembled and will be ready for installation in the ceiling upon arrival, making it a quicker and easy option with the chance to potentially add accessories. It differs from a LWK Komfort loft ladder due to the hatch thickness and the box height, the latter of which is 22cm.

FAKRO’s fire‑rated model is the LWF 60, which has a 60‑minute fire rating, but the LTK Thermo does not carry any fire resistance certification.
