Description
With its innovative large format design, the Forticrete SL8® roof tile manages to combine all of the visual characteristics of natural slate, whilst also ensuring superior features compared to other interlocking tiles on the market.
All SL8® tiles are factory blended to limit the chance of colour batching variations. Available in 4 traditional colours, the SL8® range has an option for all projects requiring a classic slate roof appearance. Forticrete have also designed the SL8® with a leading edge that is 50% thinner than alternative large format tiles on the market, making it a much closer imitation of natural slate.
Whereas alternative tiles on the market generally offer a coverage of 10 tiles per m2, the SL8® boasts a superior coverage of just 8 tiles per m2. This means a 20% reduction in the number of tiles used resulting in fewer tiles to handle and lay, meaning installation can be completed much quicker and efficiently.
A full range of maintenance free, mechanically fixed accessories are also available for the SL8® range.
Please note, where an exact colour match is critical for your projects, customers are advised to request actual tile samples.
