Created for use when ventilating a gas application, this 5" core drill vent by Manthorpe is simple to fit in new build and refurbishment applications using a 5"/127mm diameter core drill. It can also be utilised for general through-wall ventilation if required.
The kit features a 350mm length of pipe duct, a louvre grille for interior use, a cowl vent for outside and an optional anti-draught baffle, which decreases the airflow and the feel of a draught through the vent.
The external cowl minimises unpleasant draughts, reduces light and noise from the exterior of your property and functions as a barrier against wind-driven rain whilst offering a free area of 100cm². It is available in both Brown and Terracotta. The louvre fits on the internal wall and reduces draughts as well as light and noise penetration while providing a free area of 100cm², similar to the cowl. It is only available in White.
