More affordable and 60% lighter than traditional slate, these Guardian Synthetic Slate Roof Tiles are a synthetic slate alternative that is unlikely to crack or break. The tiles have a fantastic life expectancy and make a great option for both new and replacement roofing projects. They are also 100% recyclable at the end of use.
With consistent quality and accurate dimensions, these tiles are pre-marked with fixing guides for easier installation processes and include spacers for perfect alignment. They can be fixed with two 30mm x 4mm head stainless steel screws, and if your tiles need cutting to size, you can do so using a fine-toothed handsaw, jigsaw, circular saw, or sharp utility blade.
These 445mm x 150mm slates are manufactured from resin-bonded crushed limestone and come in various colours that are tested to high UV exposure and show minimal fade. They are packaged with 24 slates per bundle and 1584 slates per pallet, weighing approximately 1.04 tonnes.
