A resilient, UV-resistant, 150gsm underlay, Danelaw LR150 provides temporary weather protection for construction projects before the laying of tiles or slates. Having received BBA approval for use in both warm and cold roofs, it is classified as a type LR underlay with excellent quality and low resistance according to BS 5250 Annex H. It can be installed in unsupported applications by draping over rafters, or in supported applications over timber sarking or rigid insulation.
This underlay can be implemented in a roof structure without ventilation where a VCL (vapour control layer) has been installed and the ceiling is well-sealed. It also has a recommended maximum exposure time of three months, though it is best to install the tiles or slates as soon as you can.
This Danelaw underlay has undergone independent testing by the BRE and can be used with a 250mm batten gauge in all wind uplift zones when unsupported. In zones 1, 2, and 3, it can be used with a 345mm batten gauge unsupported.
