Our Hedgehog Anti-Bird Brush can be fixed to a half rounded roof ridge using several methods. The most common method involves screwing or clipping it into the ridge line. The brush has a flexible wire core or central spine that you position along the top center of the ridge, following the curve. You can then use the supplied fixing clips or screws to fix it into the mortar joint between ridge tiles, into the ridge itself if appropriate, or into the ridge batten underneath if accessible. If your kit includes ridge clips, you can use these to hook or pinch onto the ridge tile edges, and then attach the brush to the clip. This method avoids drilling into the tile. Alternatively, you can use outdoor construction adhesive that's safe for roofing. Apply this along the spine of the brush, then press it onto the ridge apex. This method is often used where drilling isn't desirable.
