These high-performance HeliFix InSkew 600 fixings are manufactured from stainless steel and have been specifically designed for use in warm roof construction. These InSkew helical fixings can be power or hammer driven through secure timber counter battens, insulation and battens in pitched warm roof applications without impacting the thermal properties and into the rafters.
Featuring a self-tapping design, these HeliFix InSkew fixings deliver outstanding holding power in both compression and tension. Thanks to their helical profile, they are structurally more reliable and due to far fewer fixings being required, are more economical than traditional nails.
Since the publication of Building Regulations Part L, 2006, the current uValues for pitched warm roofs, where insulation is above the rafter, are between 0.18 and 0.20W/m²K. Warm roofs that have been constructed using InSkews and used to maximise your living space have indicated compliance with these latest Part L Building Regulations.
