Available in a pack of 12 with an approximate coverage between 1m² and 3.2m², this 175mm x 76mm Insulation Loft Leg in Black allows you to insulate your home without sacrificing storage space. It works by raising the loft floor by 175mm on top of ceiling joists for energy-efficient loft storage, preventing insulation flattening while maintaining uValues.

Compressed or flattened loft roll insulation can be detrimental to thermal performance as it minimises the energy efficiency of your home, but this loft leg resolves this problem. Ideal for domestic use, it is strong, lightweight and easy to install, made in the UK using recycled materials and conforming to ISO9002 standards.

Please note:

  • Loft Legs are not intended for use as a flooring substrate or surface in a permanent living space. Not suitable for habitable rooms as the product is designed to fit on top of ceiling joists in boarded lofts used as storage.
  • Loft Legs support weights of 500kg but do not change the load-bearing characteristics of a loft.
  • Structural engineers advise never storing more than 50kg per square metre of boarded area. The loading limit of the existing ceiling structure should be confirmed by a structural engineer.
