These acoustic batten levelling cradles from JCW Acoustics are an innovative solution that can significantly reduce airborne and impact noise by up to 28 decibels, providing a more peaceful environment in areas such as schools, offices and apartments.

These acoustic batten levelling cradles are constructed from recycled materials and can support battens up to 48mm wide, making them perfect for levelling cambered, stepped or uneven concrete floors. Once installed, the cradles and battens create a level surface that is ideal for fitting a timber deck.

By coordinating these cradles with risers, it is possible to create various combinations, allowing for different heights and steps to be achieved.

  • Building Regulations: Fully compliant with Scottish Section 5 and England and Wales Approved Document E

Please note:

  • To achieve the most efficient support, these cradles should be spaced at 400mm batten centres, with each cradle accepting four batten ends. For higher weight loads, such as kitchen appliances, it is recommended to space the batten centres at 300mm and use cross battens.
