As a straightforward yet effective method for preventing loft insulation from being pushed up to the underside of your roofing underlay, this Roll-Out Rafter Tray will maintain a clear ventilation path from the eaves into the roof void.
These roll-out rafter trays are suitable for 10,000mm² per metre or 25,000mm² per metre continuous eaves ventilation in re-roofing and new build applications, on roof pitches over 12.5 degrees and for 600mm rafter centres. Simply roll them out over the rafters in the correct place to deliver a clear ventilation channel above the roof insulation, then fix them into the rafters with corrosion-resistant clout head nails or staples. For low-pitched roofs, two trays can be connected together. If using soffit ventilation, keep the bottom edge of the tray at a minimum of 25mm from the back of the fascia board.
