Suited to 600mm rafter centres, new build and re-roofing applications, and roof pitches above 12.5°, these 600mm x 6m Roll Out Rafter Trays from Klober provide a highly efficient way of stopping loft insulation from getting forced up to the underside of the roofing underlay. In turn, this allows a ventilation path from the eaves to the roof void.
These trays come in a pack of 10 and are manufactured from sleek black PVC. They are compatible with 10,000 mm² or 25,000 mm² continuous eaves ventilation.
Installing the roll out rafter trays is easy. Simply roll the trays over the rafters and fix them with the appropriate corrosion-resistant clout head nails or staples. For low-pitched roofs, you might find that two trays are best joined together. If you are using soffit ventilation, ensure that the bottom edge of the tray is at least 25mm from the back of the fascia board.
