Designed for use alongside an RT drain trap, this steel Round sliding downpipe is installed around the pipe and seamlessly slides to allow for access. By doing so, there is room for the system to undergo any necessary maintenance.
Manufactured from sturdy galvanised steel, Lindab coats its Magestic rainwater range in a protective layer of magnesium zinc alloy. This makes for a resilient selection of guttering and fittings that are saltwater tested (ISO 9227), around 20 times more corrosion resistant than regular galvanised zinc, and the reduced zinc makes them more environmentally friendly.
Magestic corrosion in not influenced by the chlorine content of the environment. Natural exposure tests demonstrate more than three times the corrosion resistance of standard galvanisation in marine environments. Galvanised coatings migrate to repair red rust on cuts and scratches. Magnesium is more anodic than zinc making the sacrificial properties of Magestic more active than standard galvanisation.
