From Manthorpe, this box of 50 G950 Weep Vents is perfect for drain lintels, cavity trays and ventilating cavity walls. They slot between two bricks and are easily mortared into position to form an inconspicuous ventilation point for the cavity behind.
With a baffled grille to stop the entry of driving rain and wind, it also incorporates an insect grille and drip lip. The gaps are big enough that debris, paint and water droplets won't cause blockages. In use alongside the Manthorpe range of catchment trays, this vent should be in the corner furthest away from the finished roof line.
The Weep Vent is best spaced at no bigger than 900mm centres to follow N.H.B.C guidelines, which suggest that weep holes are sited at every 450mm maximum with a minimum of two for each opening above windows and doors.
