The Manthorpe G950 Weep Vent is a versatile solution designed to efficiently drain lintels, ventilate cavity walls and enhance the overall moisture management. This weep vent is easily slotted between two bricks and mortared into position, seamlessly integrating into the structure while providing an unobtrusive ventilation point for the cavity behind. The vent is equipped with a baffled grille that effectively prevents the ingress of driving rain and wind, complemented by an insect grille and drip lip for comprehensive protection.
The intelligently designed grille ensures not only the exclusion of large insects but also features a width that prevents blockage from debris, paint or water droplets. For optimal performance, when used alongside Manthorpe catchment trays, it is recommended to place the weep vent in the furthest corner away from the finished roof line.
Following N.H.B.C guidelines, the weep vent should be spaced at no greater than 900mm centres, with at least two per opening above all windows and doors, ensuring compliance and efficiency in moisture management for your construction project.
