This right-handed block catchment tray from Manthorpe is ideally suited to applications of larger coursing heights (typically 150mm and 225mm) where random stone or blockwork is specified. Black in colour, the tray is made from polypropylene and compatible with all roof pitches. Placed at the lowest point of the abutment, it has upstands at either end for water collection, which run down from the trays above and reroute it out of the wall. A flexible perpend protector stops driving rain from penetrating the outer wall and tracking across the masonry.
With a unique front mortar clip that can be withdrawn when the mortar is set, a 25mm deep aperture is left for lead to be inserted and secured with lead wedges. This tray can be provided with short or long lead stapled and sealed in either Code 4 or Code 5 (special order) lead.
When installing, strike a line or use a dummy truss offset 75mm from the proposed finished roof line. One of these trays is best placed in every course at the line's intersection.
