Find out moreIn a pallet of 900, these 267mm x 168mm Plain Concrete Tiles from Marley feature traditional single-camber designs that add classic charm to any roof. With versatility extending beyond the roof surface, these tiles are available in different colour options and are suitable for dormers, eyebrows, conical roofs, and vertical cladding.
As a substitute for clay and slate, Marley's concrete roof tiles have appearances reminiscent of natural materials, with colours the same as clay. These low-maintenance tiles are suited to use in extreme climates with fire-resistant properties, and their cost-effectiveness stems from an efficient manufacturing process.
You can fix these tiles using the recommended 38mm x 2.65mm tile nails with a net roof covering capacity of 60 tiles per m² at a 100mm gauge and 53 tiles per m² at a 115mm gauge. For optimal performance, these tiles are suited to a minimum roof headlap of 65mm, a minimum vertical headlap of 37.5mm, a maximum roof gauge of 100mm and a maximum vertical gauge of 115mm. The approximate weight of the tiling is 73.8kg/m² (0.72kN/m²) at a 100mm gauge (roof) and 58kg/m² (0.57kN/m²) at a 115mm gauge (vertical).
Per net roof, you will need 10.0 linear metres of battens per m² at a 100mm gauge, or 8.7 linear metres per m² at a 115mm gauge per net vertical. For rafters/supports that do not exceed 600mm centres, 50mm x 25mm battens (fixed to BS 5534) are recommended.
