Questions & Answers

Question:

How much light am I likely to lose from having opal heatguard rather than clear? As the roof is outside my kitchen window, I can't afford to lose much light but also need to reduce the heat under the polycarbonate.

Answer:

The clear offers about 63% light transmission whereas the opal heathguard is about 4% so there is an extra loss of light with the heatguard.

Question:

I have a polycarbonate roof and want to know if I can add this product underneath my existing roof and can I use spray glue to fix it please

Answer:

To have an effect you would really need this on the external part of the roof, sticking it is not ideal it would be better to actually re-do the whole roof in this Polycarbonate.
