The kit includes a heavyweight 146gsm breather membrane known for its exceptional water resistance, meeting EN 1928 W1 Class standards, as well as a single-sided and double-sided lap tap.

This versatile membrane is suitable for pitched cold and warm roofs, as well as insulated wall applications, meeting EN 13859-1 for pitched roofing and EN 13859-2 for walls. Its superior water resistance, coupled with high breathability levels, ensures effective protection against the elements.

Features & Benefits: Novia Black Pro Roof & Wall Breather Membrane DIY Kit

  • A 146gsm breather membrane suitable for pitched roofs and insulated walls
  • Also comes with a single and double-sided roll of lap tape
  • Meets EN 1928 W1 Class standards, ensuring effective protection against water
  • Strikes a balance between water resistance and breathability for various construction scenarios
  • Fire classification grade E, complying with UK Building Regulations
  • Black on one side, white on the reverse, with a 150mm overlap line for easy installation

The membrane complies with EN13501-1 fire classification grade E, meeting the minimum requirements set by UK Building Regulations. The product's design is both practical and user-friendly, featuring a completely black surface on one side and white on the reverse, with no additional text or images except for a 150mm overlap line.

  • Novia® Black Pro Breather Membrane meets the requirements for CE marking, originally introduced under the 2013 Construction Products Regulations. Under this European directive, all products covered by a current hEN (harmonised European Norm) must comply with the new standard. Third party accreditation is no longer sufficient.
