This item works better with a slight fall. You would be better off taking a look at our shingles range for a flat roof. Alternatively, you would use an EDPM system. If you need help email in the size of the roof and one of the team will help you.

Yes these can be put straight onto battens. If you look at the user guide PDF above it has advised batten spacings depending on roof pitch.
15 degrees of great - batten spacing 61cm
10-15 degress - batten spacing 45cm
5-10 degress - roof must be fully boarded
