Pavatherm-Combi Woodfibre Insulation Board presents a versatile and economical solution for insulating walls and roofs. Alongside its innovative profiled edge design, it allows for multiple functions and applications, making it a highly adaptable choice. Additionally, this woodfibre insulation board can be used in combination with render, cladding or tiling.
This multi-functional board boasts a central profile which enables it to be turned and used in a range of applications. Whether it is rendered or laid directly on the rafters, it provides exceptional protection from the elements. With its superior insulating properties, it is an ideal choice for roof-wall-floor ceiling systems.
This item is suitable for roofing with Pavatherm-Plus board or Pavatex ADB membrane on rafters, as well as under-rafter installations. It also works for wall cladding on studs with Pavatherm-Plus Board or Pavatex ADB membrane, and with Diffutherm Board for rendering. It accepts mechanical fixings and accommodates various finishes such as brick cladding, rendering, and plastering.
Pavatherm-Combi is supplementary insulation for high-thickness Pavatherm-Plus solutions. To install over rafters, lay Pavatherm-Combi directly on the rafters, cover immediately to protect from weather, then add Pavatherm-Plus insulation elements with offset joints. Ensure the distance between rafters doesn't exceed 89cm. For under rafters, fix Pavatherm-Combi under-rafter boards with offset joints to rafters with insulation nails, then attach battens through the insulation boards. For an alternative rendered under-rafter insulation, the substructure is placed at right angles to the rafters (40/60 mm with axis spacing a = 34.5 cm) and filled with PAVAFLEX insulation. Add a DB 3.5 airtight vapour barrier, and cover the area with Pavatherm-Combi under-rafter insulation boards parallel to the rafters.
