Find out moreThis enhanced and upgraded Easy Valley offers the ideal Dry Valley System for both natural and manmade slates up to 10mm thick. Fitted over the battens, it saves time during installation and even allows for dormer valleys.
Constructed from the highest grade high-impact plastic and featuring Permavent's unique super seal, this Easy Valley surpasses all expectations. The innovative flexibility, size and adaption of the seals ensure your roof remains flood-free even during the fiercest storms. Its design lets water flow seamlessly over the top, through improved water channels, and right off the roof.
For ultimate convenience, this Easy Valley can be installed on roofs with pitches as low as 12°. Without the need for constant maintenance, the cut slates remain securely in place, preventing any slips. While preserving traditional building methods, this modern Easy Valley system is incredibly flexible and versatile, ensuring a quick and easy installation process.
The Easy Valley cap acts as a remarkable cover system, boosting water flow and eliminating slate slippage. Additionally, it flawlessly overlaps previously installed fixings, ensuring a perfect finish for your roof valley, even with poorly cut slates.
Question:
Can these be overlapped or jointed if the valley is over 3m ?
Answer:
Yes, the Permavent Easy Valley Dry Valley System can indeed be jointed or overlapped if your valley run is longer than 3 metres. When extending a valley, the next section should overlap the lower section by a minimum of 150-300mm. It's crucial that the upper piece laps over the lower one, in the direction of water flow. The joint should be securely fixed and sealed as per Permavent’s installation guidance, with the valley caps continuing uninterrupted over the joint. This is standard practice and fully acceptable for long valleys when installed correctly.
