This tape is a high-performance woven fibreglass mesh tape designed to reinforce plasterboard joints and prevent cracking in finished walls and ceilings. It applies directly to plasterboard without the need for a bedding coat, making installation fast, clean, and efficient. The open-mesh structure allows jointing compound to penetrate through the fibres, creating a robust bond between the tape, plasterboard, and finish coat.
Supplied in a generous 90m roll, this scrim tape is ideal for reinforcing butt and tapered joints, repairing minor cracks, securing patch repairs, and strengthening internal corners. Its 50mm width suits standard plasterboard applications, while the fibreglass mesh provides excellent tensile strength to resist tearing or distortion during installation.
