This Promat Masterboard is a type of building board that contains calcium silicate and is fortified with carefully selected fibres and fillers. It is entirely free from formaldehyde and inorganic fibres and is an ideal choice for creating wall linings.
To produce the wall lining, a metal support system, which has been similarly treated, 'dry lines' block walls and is used in conjunction with this versatile building board. The resulting wall lining made from this Promat Masterboard can be tiled with an appropriate adhesive and grout or finished with a Steridex protective coating. This Class 0 building board is suitable for a variety of internal and semi-exposed applications. It has limited combustibility, offering up to 30 minutes of fire protection when used in your construction. It is simple to work with and fit and is resistant to moisture, ensuring that it will not decay or rot.
This board comes in an off-white colour with an unsanded, smooth front face and sanded reverse side. It can be decorated with wallpapers, tiles or paints to complement your interior décor or left untouched.
