Description

This RapidRoof Waterproof Kit is incredibly easy to use. The two-coat application only requires 20 minutes for each, in turn providing you with a durable, seamless and waterproof system for an area up to 5m2 and with little time and hassle required. RapidRoof is LRS' unique PMMA, seamless, cold liquid applied waterproofing system.

Suited to a wide assortment of applications, you can use this Waterproof Kit on roofs, floors, balconies, walkways, steps and ramps. The versatility of this product also includes materials - asphalt, masonry, asbestos and felt are all compatible with RapidRoof's Waterproof Kit, as well as concrete with an appropriate primer, timber (to Norbord Sterling OSB3), coarse surfaced GRP and plastic, and metals that are not copper or lead. RapidRoof is specially formulated to be applied to surface temperatures between 0°c to 35°c enabling year-round application.

Please note:

  • Before use, customers are advised to check that the batch number for the final top coat matches the other tins within the kit. Tins with differing batch numbers can cause uneven colour matches. If the batch numbers do not match, please call our sales team.

Question:

Hi, is this product suitable for filling shallow ponds in an existing GRP flat roof?

Answer:

RapidRoof (GREY) can indeed be used on an existing GRP flat roof, however, it is not designed to fill or correct ponding areas. This product is a liquid waterproofing overlay which is intended to seal, reinforce, and protect the existing surface. It will essentially follow the existing shape of the roof, which means any shallow ponds or low spots will still remain after application. It is not recommended to use RapidRoof to build up areas to remove ponding, as this could lead to uneven curing or premature wear.
