Available with a Slate Grey finish and an Underlay, this Redland Cambrian Hi-Flow ThruVent Tile provides a way to achieve greater ventilation within the roof slope compared to the standard ThruVent Tile, whether at high or low levels. It can also be employed for soil pipe ventilation without any usage limitations.
With a minimum pitch that is the same as the minimum pitch of the slate and a maximum of 90°, this Redland Cambrian Hi-Flow ThruVent Tile offers an effective ventilation area of 15,000mm² for Cambrian slates. When spaced at 600mm centres, it can obtain a roof space ventilation of 25,000mm² per metre.
It is essential to install the Underlay Seal to preserve the integrity of the roofing underlay. When utilising Hi-Flow ThruVent Tiles alongside insulation between the rafters, the pipe underneath should be free from insulation. This can be achieved by cutting the pipe if needed. When terminating soil pipes, avoid installation within a horizontal distance of 3m and a vertical distance of 900mm from any openings, such as roof windows or roof space ventilation.
