Find out moreIdeal for use with the DuoPlain concrete roof tiles, this half-round ridge from Redland is available in a range of colours to coordinate with your roofing installation. It can be installed by mortar bedding only, dry fixing or a combination of mechanical fixing and mortar bedding.
For a completely secure installation when mortar bedded and mechanically fixed, pair this ridge tile with Clamping Plates and woodscrews featuring foam grommets and neoprene washers. To ensure precision, carefully drill a 6mm diameter hole at the centre of each ridge tile.
When utilising the Cloaked Verge or Ambi-Dry Verge System, make sure to incorporate the Block End Half Round Ridge Tile at the verge for seamless integration. When using Landmark Double Pantile, Grovebury, Regent, Cathedral, Old Hollow or Norfolk Pantile with mortar-bedded ridge tiles, ensure a secure fit by embedding Dentil Slips in the tile pans.
For a stunning finish, the Capped Half Round Ridge Tiles are available for use with Old Hollow Clay Pantiles and Cathedral Clay Pantiles in Brindle, Terracotta, Vintage Red or Vintage Blue. If you need a Rapid Vented Ridge solution for your Cathedral installation, opt for the Rich Terracotta Half Round Ridge Tiles. For Cathedral Brindle installations, the Terracotta Brindle Ridge Tiles are the perfect match.

Question:
Can these be used for hips also as cant find these hip tiles ?
Answer:
The Redland DuoPlain Concrete 450mm Half Round Ridge tiles are primarily designed for use on the ridge line of the roof. However, in some cases, they can indeed be used on hips depending on the roof design and personal preference. Please note that it's always best to check with a professional roofer or builder to ensure that your specific roof design can accommodate this.
