Find out moreWith a blend of timeless elegance and modern innovation, this Fenland Pantile is constructed with a sleek, interlocking concrete design, ensuring exceptional durability and superior weather protection in any environment. Embracing the legacy of the iconic single clay pantiles that define the charm of the South East and East Anglia, it is available in a range of subtly coloured and pigmented acrylic finishes.
Redland has expanded its line of Fenland Pantiles with a striking Black variant. Created in response to demand from esteemed housebuilders, it is expected to make a significant impact in the East Anglian region. The deep, intense black hue is achieved through the application of pigmented acrylic on both the surface and leading edge of each concrete Pantile. To safeguard their pristine condition during transportation and storage, the tiles are equipped with protective wax pads on their undersides, effectively minimising the risk of damage or scuffing.
Pitched at a minimum of 17.5° with a 100mm headlap, or 22.5° with a 75mm headlap, the Fenland Pantile accommodates a wide range of roof configurations. While the maximum pitch is 90°, subject to specific fixing guidelines, a 125mm maximum headlap ensures optimal performance. With a minimum gauge of 256mm and a maximum gauge of 281mm (below 22.5°) or 306mm (at 22.5° and above), this roofing solution ensures seamless installation.
Achieving impressive coverage, the Fenland Pantile boasts an average of 17.8 tiles per square metre when using a 281mm gauge or 16.3 tiles per square metre with a 306mm gauge. Supporting the installation process, the recommended batten sizes are 38mm x 25mm for rafter centres up to 450mm or 50mm x 25mm for rafter centres up to 600mm. The batten requirements are 3.56 metres per square metre for a 281mm gauge or 3.26 metres per square metre for a 306mm gauge.

Question:
Do you also sell the plastic eaves protectors for the exposed fascia side? to stop birds and squirrels?
Answer:
Yes — plastic eaves protectors and bird‑blocking combs are available and can be used alongside Redland Fenland Pantiles to stop birds and squirrels from accessing the exposed fascia side. Flexible bird comb fillers are specifically designed to fit beneath profiled tiles such as pantiles, blocking the curved gaps while still allowing ventilation. Roofing Superstore also stocks these accessories, including combined eaves protectors and bird comb systems suitable for most pitched roofs.
