This Old College Red tile is a stunning red tile with random and delicate brindle patterns. For a seamless installation, you can complement it with the Rosemary Light Mixed Brindle Half Round Ridge Tiles.
With a variable gauge, this Westminster Slate is a large format, single-lap interlocking flat clay tile which can be installed with a complete range of complementary accessories and fittings. As a high-performance, cost-effective roof covering, it has a tapered leading edge with a concealed interlock and a thin appearance.
Designed to function on roof pitches as low as 17.5°, based on a maximum rafter length of 10 metres, this roof tile is suitable for use on a maximum pitch of 90°, subject to fixing specifications. Offering savings in both labour and materials, it is quick and easy to install. Requiring a minimum gauge of 340mm per batten spacing and a maximum of 370mm, it has a coverage capacity of 9.7 tiles per m² with a weight of 47.5kg/m² at the maximum gauge and 10.5 tiles per m² with a weight of 51.5kg/m² at the minimum gauge.
For a secure installation, you should have a minimum headlap of 110mm up to a maximum of 140mm. You will need 2.7 metres of battens per square metre at the maximum gauge and 2.9 metres per square metre at the minimum gauge.
