Perfect for living roofs of any type, this root-resistant and completely self-adhesive SK W Full Bond from Resitrix is a glass-reinforced and heat weldable, composite rubber membrane with an Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) core. The fully coated bottom side has self-adhesive polymer modified bitumen with a removable release film.
Applicable to a wide variety of projects, this Resitrix SK W Bond can be installed in either fully bonded or exposed systems, for living roof systems of any kind to generate "living on the roof" spaces or beneath roof gardens (biodiverse, intensive or extensive greenery). Featuring an EPDM waterproofing layer with a special integral bonding course on the top side, this sheet has a non-slip, textured surface that is highly UV-resistant with excellent elasticity making it ideal as an exposed roofing material. With glass fibre reinforcement, this material is even more stabilised which reduces the risk of shrinkage.
The base side of this membrane is made from polymer-modified bitumen that is especially simple to warm, ensuring seam welding is easy without the requirement for naked flames. There is a removable release film underneath this sheet which helps to prevent the self-adhesive membranes of this Resitrix SK W Full Bond from fixing to the substrate before the installer is ready.
