Description

Fully supportive of up to 2100kg compression in a temperature scale from -40°C up to 120°C, this recyclable polypropylene pedestal from RynoDeck is compatible with all kinds of decking or floor joists and is self-levelling and adjustable. Allowing for height corrections, this RynoDeck does not require shims.

The wide supporting base distributes the load of the decking without difficulty to protect the membranes from being punctured by the weight. Featuring a height extension collar enabling 100mm build-ups and an adjustable threaded section giving more precise millimetre adjustment, this pedestal also has a self-levelling bearer support head with a ball and socket joint so that you can correct the levelling by up to 6° or 10.5% for a completely level system. With versatile joist lugs allowing for differing bearer widths of up to 100mm, the bearer support head can be substituted by an interchangeable deck tile head for fitting decking tiles as a replacement for timber.

One unit

Question:

what is the recommended centres between pedestals to support 100X50 treated timber joists

Answer:

400mm to 600mm depending on what's going on top. eg a hot tub would be 400mm

Question:

what size decking joists will these take

Answer:

50mm wide

Question:

How far do i need to space these?

Answer:

Depending on the job but as a rule every 400mm

Question:

Is this product suitable for levelling a wooden deck to support a hottub?

Answer:

It would work but I would decrease the standard spacing to be safe

Question:

What is the recommended spacing for these risers. My log cabin is 5m x 3m with 32 x 48mm floor bearers spaced approx 500mm apart.

Answer:

Between 400 and 500mm depending on the carry load

Question:

How many are suggested per square metre for composite decking please? I am looking at 12 - 13m2 of decking.

Answer:

You would use them at least every 400mm along your timber supports, so best to look at the total timber you are using and work out a qty from that total linear meterage.

Question:

Can this product be used to level a wooden decking frame?

Answer:

Yes this product is perfect for that use.

Question:

How many supports would I need for a raised 4200x4200 deck using a C24 150x50 sub-frame on a lawn supporting 150x50 decking joists spaced at 400mm? The lawn slopes by 5%.

Answer:

The best way to calculate this is take the total linear meterage of timber you are getting and divide that by the 400mm spacing.

Question:

How many would I need for a 3.5m2 floating deck on hardcore? To hold small inflatable hot tub weighted with people at approx 1500kgs.

Answer:

You want to use these at least every 400mm along the timbers so if you know the total linear meters of timber you are getting to create the deck best to work from that calculation for how many you will need.

Question:

I'm going to build a shed base. I'm going to use a kiln dried 4x2 timber frame. what decking pedestal could you recommend?

Answer:

These decking pedestals would be suitable.

Question:

Hi there just a quick question on how do you fix the decking joist to RDA-7?

Answer:

They rest against the fixing bracket on the top and can then be screwed through that bracket.

Question:

How many do you get thanks?

Answer:

This is the individual price per cradle, if you wanted an estimate of how many you needed please send your build details through to sales@roofingsuperstore.co.uk.
