Manufactured from recyclable polypropylene and resistant to bitumen, mould, alkali and algae, this self-levelling adjustable decking pedestal from RynoDeck is compatible with all forms of floor or decking joists and enables height corrections between 110mm up to 160mm without the necessity for shims.
In a temperature range of -40° to 120°C, this pedestal is fully supportive of up to 2100kg compression. Featuring a wide supporting base that distributes the load of the decking easily, this pedestal stops membranes from being pierced by the weight. Directly above the supporting base is a height extension collar that allows for 100mm build-ups with an adjustable threaded section, ensuring more accurate millimetre adjustment within the given range. Not needing shims means that fewer parts are required on-site, you don't have to worry about having enough shims to complete your job and you can spend less time finding the correct height adjustment.
A self-levelling bearer support head at the top of this pedestal including a ball and socket joint for correction of levelling up to 10.5% or 6° provides a perfectly level system. The versatile joint lugs on the self-levelling head permit varying bearer widths of up to 100mm while an interchangeable deck tile head can be used to replace the bearer support head for laying decking tiles as an alternative to timber.
Question:
How many supports would I need for a raised 4200x4200 deck using a C24 150x50 sub-frame on a lawn supporting 150x50 decking joists spaced at 400mm? The lawn slopes by 5%.
Answer:
The best way to calculate this is take the total linear meterage of timber you are getting and divide that by the 400mm spacing.
Question:
How many would I need for a 3.5m2 floating deck on hardcore? To hold small inflatable hot tub weighted with people at approx 1500kgs.
Answer:
You want to use these at least every 400mm along the timbers so if you know the total linear meters of timber you are getting to create the deck best to work from that calculation for how many you will need.
Question:
How many do you get thanks?
Answer:
This is the individual price per cradle, if you wanted an estimate of how many you needed please send your build details through to sales@roofingsuperstore.co.uk.
