Questions & Answers

Hello, is it possible to have some samples of different colours? Im looking to use these on a low pitch roof but its on a grade 2 listed property so need to discuss proposals with a conservation officer.

Samples of these tiles can be requested directly from the suppliers via the link below.

Can this tile be used in the vertical

The suppliers confirmed you can use these vertically if you want to, but as they are to mimic the look of a plain tile, it is just as easy to use the below.

what overlap is needed on a 15 degree pitch on the tiles but also on the felt please?

At 15° you install the tiles at a 75mm headlap, and best to do 300mm laps on your underfelt to be on the safe side.

Would this match an old clay tile roof. Building an extension but want tiles to match as best they can, but can't get much of a pitch, probably only 18 degrees. Could I send a photo of the existing tile so you could tell me if it would be a good match? Thanks,

These are desgined to match the look of a plain tile roof, but when you need to go to a lower pitch so would be a good option.

How many sandtoft 20/20 tuscan roof tiles will I ned to cover 126m2?

Dependant on the pitch these are being laid at please see the coverage below.

Tile Coverage per m²: 22.7 tiles per m² at 100mm 20.5 tiles per m² at 75mm headlap

what are the recommended vertical tiles to be used with sandtoft 20/20 antique slate for use on a dormer

You could use any standard plain tile for hanging, but we do not currently sell and Sandtoft ones matching the colour I am afraid.

Do you provide a sample of this product ?

Samples for Sandtoft items need to be ordered via the below link: https://www.wienerberger.co.uk/sample-ordering.html

Could I use the sandtoft 20/20 on a 13°pitch?
