A collaboration with leading contractors in the UK, the New Cassius design is the result of four years of research. This Sandtoft New Cassius Half Roof Tile significantly reduces the expenses associated with natural slate roofs, offering a cost-saving alternative installed without trouble due to its large format, open gauge, and concealed interlocks.
Competitive with concrete thin-leading edge roof tiles, the New Cassius tiles help to reduce materials, labour, weight, and project completion time. Crafted from natural alluvial Humber clay for enhanced durability, longevity and natural charm, the tile includes unique irregularities for added texture on any roof. The tile also boasts colourfastness and high performance with a weatherproof design that has progressed through rigorous wind tunnel testing with Sandtoft's century of roofing experience.
To ensure a seamless finish, tiling should be completed within 15mm of the wall. It is crucial to maintain a broken bond pattern with tiles and half tiles securely fixed in place.
