Compatible with TLE, Cassius, Rivius and 20/33 Sandtoft tiles, this Sandtoft TLE/MF Dry Verge Eaves Unit combines the standard dry verge unit and an eaves closure. With an inbuilt closure that stops the entry of nesting birds and a slim design to elevate appearances, it is equipped to fit around common gutter profiles in appropriate installations.
While retaining characteristics of the old TLE dry verge, the new TFE/MF Dry Verge System has been developed and advanced to suit Sandtoft's popular medium format tile, the 20/20, for an even sleeker appearance. It features a 35mm x 4mm primary fixing screw mounted to the unit for fast and easy fixing into the end grain of battens, complying with the BS8612 requirements that indicate nails alone are unsuitable for mechanical fixing. For ultimate security, the eaves unit also needs a secondary face fixing towards the tail of the unit. The face fixing for the eaves unit is not supplied with the system, so it is necessary to specify the correct screw for the material screwed into.
Easy to install, the Sandtoft Dry Verge Systems create tidy and durable finishes at roof verges without mortar. Each TLE/MF dry verge system allows for resistance to high-speed winds and includes units to suit left and right-hand verges, available in assorted colours for a perfect match to your roof tiles.
This unit measures 420mm x 128mm x 44mm. With a large gauge variation from 295mm to 345mm, the unit includes a gauge of 210mm to 345mm with a vertical batten installed.
