Description

You can ease your concerns about unprotected lead with Seldek Nu-Lead, the flashing solution for pipes through slate and tile roofs. It has been developed specifically for use where handling lead and environmental issues can be problematic and challenging.

A sturdy flashing, it combines a long-life, weather-resistant EPDM cone (Ethylene Propylene Diene Terpolymer, a highly durable synthetic rubber roofing membrane) with an acrylic-coated lead base for a solution that is both robust and resilient.

Features & Benefits: Dektite Seldek Nu-Lead EPDM Pipe Flashing

  • Robust EPDM pipe flashing solution
  • Combines weather resistant EPDM cone with acrylic-coated lead base
  • Suitable for a roof pitch between 0° and 45°
  • Available in several sizes
  • Able to withstand constant temperatures at the roofline of -50°C to 115°C and up to 150°C intermittently

The unique thermo-baked coating will not impact the malleability of the lead. Instead, it prevents leaching onto the roof and into gutters and downpipes. Seldek Nu-Lead is the perfect option for a roof pitch between 0° and 45° and suits several pipe dimensions.

It will suit the pipe size but you may need to check how hot your flue pipe may get, As this flashing can only be used with pipes up to 115°C constant heat and 150°C intermittent heat.
