  • Incorporates one main valve and one economizer valve enabling a gas-saving pilot flame
  • Trigger for instant shifting between pilot and main flame and for pulsing the main flame
  • All metal parts made of high-quality brass
  • Ergonomically designed plastic composite handle
  • Double moulded soft grip for highest comfort and useability

Kit includes: Sievert Handle, 500mm Neck Tube, 44mm Burner Head, 5m propane hose and 0-4 bar regulator

Does the Sievert Large Gas Torch Kit Complete with Hose & Reg - 500mm x 60mm Have auto ignition?

Answer:

The Sievert Large Gas Torch Kit Complete with Hose & Reg - 500mm x 60mm does not appear to come with a built-in auto ignition feature. It does, however, include a double-valved Pro 88 handle, a pilot flame (economizer) valve, and a trigger that switches between the pilot flame and full flame output. This means you have control over the flame intensity and can easily switch between a pilot flame and full flame output.

Question:

Health & safety have asked what temperature the torch operates at? They have suggested that a torch of this types has a working temperature up to 1650 dC. I dont believe it gets that hot, can you confirm?

Answer:

The temperature is down to the user, the dials allow you to control strength and intensity of the flame. The technical team at Sievert have confirmed that Propane burns at 1900°C but the head on the torch would mean you are getting 114KW power from it.
