Butyband is a ready to use, auto adhering, elastoplastic sealing tape based upon Butyl rubber.

Technical Information:

·         Thickness: 0,60 mm (0,55 mm Butyl – 0,05 mm Alutape)

·         Moisture Vapour Transmission: 2,5 g/m² per 24 hrs.

·         Specific gravity: (DIN 53479) Approx. 1,00 g/cm³

·         UV stability: Good

·         Temperature resistance: -30°C to +80°C

Does this stick to facing bricks, or should the bricks be primed? If priming is recommended, do you sell suitable primer? Thanks.

Answer:

This would stick to brickwork, just make sure it is cleaned and dry first.

Question:

Do you have any information on the life expectancy of this product? I'm trying to compare it to Flashband products. Thanks.

Answer:

This comparable to Flashband in both application and lifespan, we do not have a definite time frame for lifespan as it can depend on application.

Question:

Is the description correct at 225mm Data sheet only goes up to 30 mm with one width 22.5 mm

Answer:

Yes 225mm is correct, the dimensions on the data sheet are in cm rather than mm.
