Description

These first-grade natural Spanish 'Domiz' slates from the Cabrera mountains are hand-split for a high in strength product that is also high in aesthetic appeal. The stunning blue-grey colour and the cold, boldness resemble and make a good substitute for the popular Welsh slate from Ffestiniog quarry, which is now defunct.

This excellent slate won't fade in colour and is ready for installation in all kinds of climates and weather conditions. Slates are tested rigorously to BS EN 12326 UK and NF 228 French standards under strict criteria.

Domiz standard-grade slates achieve A1-T1-S1 to BS EN 12326 with a 75-year guarantee from supplier SSQ and are expected to last much longer. Domiz slates are between 5mm and 7mm thick and include a rust-free guarantee that offers property owners an attractive and low-maintenance roof that will continue to look stunning for many years.

Please note:

  • Our slates are typically delivered on a six-wheeled lorry (11m long and 2.4m wide) with a tail-lift facility to offload on solid, level ground with a pump truck.
  • Non-compliance to delivery restrictions may result in additional delivery charges. Should you specifically require a crane or small vehicle offload, please notify us at the time of placing the order, as an additional charge may be incurred. Please allow 5% extra in the ordered quantity to cover acceptable breakage in transporting natural slate products.

Hi I need a headlap of 150. Are these slates drilled so i can achieve this? Cheers John

Answer:

These would not be holed for a 150mm headlap, for that headlap you would need to hook fix them.
