Starling Bird Netting - Cut to Size is a highly effective and trusted solution for protecting structures against starling infestations and other urban bird pests. Ideal for use in areas where birds roost overnight or where infestations are heavy, this netting is one of the only systems that provides long-term, reliable protection when properly installed. Manufactured from knotted polyethylene, the netting is chemically inert, does not absorb water, and will not stretch, ensuring lasting strength and shape. It is also UV light stabilised, offering resistance to sun damage for over 10 years in typical UK conditions. Available cut to size to reduce waste and suit specific project requirements, it is a practical solution for custom installations.
Our Cut-To-Size netting production service is especially popular for nets with one or both dimensions beyond our Stock-Size limit of 20m, or for a large quantity of non stock size nets sub 20m, in order to save on wastage. These bird nets are constructed from monofilaments designed specifically for bird net systems. They are extruded to 0.3mm thick. They are then twisted into a twine which is 12/9 strands thick.
We can manufacture nets to your specific dimensions, we manufacture to the nearest whole meter, i.e. if you require a 22.5m X 31.2m net then we can produce a 23m X 32m net which you can trim on site. Despite being of rugged, heavy-duty polyethylene construction, all the nets can easily be cut down to size once on site using either our affordable netting shears (NT125) or a high quality pair of sharp scissors.
