For internal use in conservatories or sheds, the SuperFOIL SFBA stands out as the top choice for bubble foil insulation in the UK. This versatile material is applicable for insulating under floors, within walls, and in dry linings, such as cellars. Furthermore, SFBA has also found utility in industrial settings and greenhouses.
Alongside user-friendly installation, SFBA has been crafted to optimise insulation performance. It serves as an ideal radiant barrier, supplementing existing insulation to provide warmth in winter and coolness in summer for a comfortable home year-round.
Boasting a 3mm double layer insulation, the SFBA is composed of a polyethylene bubble membrane sandwiched between two reflective foil surfaces. This configuration maintains comfortable temperatures in garages across different seasons. SFBA also incorporates 40% recycled materials, rendering it an eco-friendly choice for sustainability-minded individuals.
To install this product, clear the installation surface of dust, dirt, grease, and oil. Apply double-sided tape to the surface and make sure the perimeter is covered, adding multiple lines for extra adhesion (two or more for each foil length). Cut lengths of SFBA to size, leaving an extra 50mm for overlap per piece. Fix SFBA to the tape, overlapping each edge by 50mm. Finally, prevent air movement by sealing the overlapped joints with SuperFOIL reflective tape.
