An essential accessory designed for roofs where the ridge and hip meet, this dry-fix TapcoSlate Classic Ridge To Hip Junction cap is crafted from the same high-quality material as the TapcoSlate Classic product, ensuring a seamless match with your roof slate.
With the TapcoSlate Classic angled ridge to hip junction caps, you can benefit from flexibility when fixing and similar properties to Tapco roofing slate. Weighing around 12kg per square metre, these caps are incredibly lightweight and have effortless installation processes due to their pre-marked nailing guides and spacers. You can also achieve the perfect fit by easily cutting the caps with a fine-toothed saw or sharp utility blade.
Mechanically fixed, these angled ridge to hip junction caps come in different sizes and have been thoroughly tested to BBA, ETA and CE standards for fire rating, water absorption, wind, driven snow and rain. Its fitment is universal, so its height depends on your roof pitch and can be laid from almost 0° to 90°. Six units cover one linear metre in ridge/hip length, and each unit needs to be warmed up using a hot-air gun along the ridge before bending it into shape.
