You don't need a flashing kit as such. You would water-tight the unit with felt or whatever product your using on the flat roof

Do I need a separate upstand to keep well clear off roof water etc? Can I extend the tunnel to circa 1.2m? Does the tunnel length have to include the depth of the rooflight and upstand etc?

This is a complete kit you don't need to buy anything extra. The Flexi tube is 2m long and should not be extended
