Calder's Stainless Steel Lead Fixing Strips are ideal for securing lead sheets in various roofing applications. These strips are specifically designed for use in rolls, welts and standing seams, ensuring a reliable and durable fixation of lead roofing elements.
For optimal performance, it is recommended that lead fixing strips have a minimum width of 50mm. Additionally, they should be turned over at the edge of the lead by at least 25mm, with the exception of situations where they are tucked into welted edges. Continuous strips, particularly suitable for specific applications, should not be less than 75mm wide. When used for flashings, these strips should be strategically placed at intervals ranging from 300mm to 500mm, depending on the specific exposures encountered during installation.
