Find out moreFeaturing an elegant Double Pantile design, this Tile Vent offers seamless ventilation for your roof space or ducted system. Designed to replace one Pantile tile, it can be a discreet addition to your roof, maintaining a continuous visual appeal with an impressive ventilation area of 10,000mm².
Suitable for roofs with a minimum pitch of 20 degrees, these tile vents come with UV-stabilised tops for long-term exposure to sunlight. They're also BS EN 490:2011 compliant for quality assurance in line with concrete roofing tiles and fittings. For aesthetic purposes, Timloc manufactures these tile vents to resemble large format tiles like Marley Mendip, Redland Grovebury, Redland Landmark, Russell Pennine, Quinn Locherne and Sandtoft Double Pantile.
Question:
How do you prevent rain ingress with this vented tile. It looks like the Louvres are exposed to the rain and water will pour in to the vent?
Answer:
The Timloc Double Pantile Tile Vent has been designed with a unique feature to prevent rain ingress. The vent's structure includes an internal rainwater diverter which channels any rainwater that enters the vent safely back out onto the roof. This ensures that water does not enter your roof space. The louvres are indeed exposed, but they are designed to allow air to flow in and out without letting water in.
