This Metal Access Panel from Timloc is a tough, durable and lightweight product manufactured from galvanised mild steel. With a layer of mineral wool insulation inside the door, you can have fantastic acoustic performance and insulation in one.
This Timloc Metal Access Panel is coated in polyester powder to RAL 9016 White. This can be covered with any paint colour before or after it has been installed. What’s more, it offers up to 60 minutes of fire protection.
This Timloc Metal Access Panel can conceal and provide access to electrical, plumbing and building services. Typically, this will be where a one-hour fire rating is required, and plastic access panels are not applicable. It can also be used to conceal boiler flue inspection access, thanks to meeting the requirements of the gas safety industry. You can complete the installation with the picture frame surround to mask with a cut-out edge for further aesthetic improvement.

The Timloc 1 Hour FR White Picture Frame 200mm x 200mm Metal Access Panel requires a clear cavity depth of approximately 155mm behind the face of the panel. This space is necessary to accommodate the insulated fire-rated door, the mineral wool backing, and the internal mechanism. The panel itself features a low-profile 32mm front frame, designed for a plasterboard finish, but the overall build depth is indeed around 155mm.
